Transfer iOS Screenshots to Mac Easily

If you're photograph lovers, especially often take a photo with iPhone or iPad, this tips would be nice for you because the most hated part of it is transfer the photos.  This will get you access photos and screenshots saved on your iOS, directly on your Mac without doing anything.

  1. Use Photo Stream on iOS and Mac

    Go to System Preference -> iCloud and make sure Photo Stream is ‘checked’.



    On your iOS, go to Settings -> Photos and set Photo Stream to ‘ON’.

  2. Locate Photo Stream folder in Mac

    1. Hover your mouse over Finder on the Dock, option-click and select ‘Go to Folder’.

    2. Type ~/Library/ and hit ‘Go’.

    3. Navigate to Application Support -> iLifeAssetManagement -> assets -> sub then in the field, type ‘png’ and select ‘Portable Network Graphic Image’ from the popup.

    4. Hit the save button.

    5. Name the folder as ‘Photo Stream’ or ‘screenshot’ or anything easily remembered. Make sure the ‘Add To Sidebar’ option checked and click ‘Save’.

    Now whenever you take a photo or screenshot from your iOS device, you will see those saved items appear in this PhotoStream folder which the shortcut placed in finder sidebar.
